What's a beer festival without something to line your stomach?
From Monday the 14th of August, we'll be annoucing our awesome vendors with some old friends and fresh faces ready and raring to go on whipping up some tasty food and drink.

Make sure you don't miss out, click here to grab your tickets.

We are really excited that The Grind Newcastle have agreed to join us again for Oktoberfest!

The Grind are all about perfecting the art of making the ultimate American style cheeseburger. Using fresh ground, British beef, they have refined their patty smashing and cooking techniques, and combine that with their perfect picks for gooey cheeses and homemade relishes, their burgers can only be described as meaty cheesey works of art.

You can see more from them over on their Facebook and Twitter!

Another returning champ of our last couple festivals, Over Langshaw will be rolling out the ice cream cart again!

Over Langshaw make delicious, organic ice cream on their family-owned dairy farm, using sustainable ingredients and bucket loads of creativity. If you've ever wanted to have a beer sorbet, or have always dreamed of flavours like maple & bacon, then these are the people to talk to. A total hit at both festivals, they were dishing out cones and tubs of some of the tastiest flavours we didn't even know existed! We can't wait to see what they bring this time.

In the meantime, you can visit them at their police box in the Grassmarket, and also on their website, plus you can follow them on Facebook and Twitter to keep up with what they'll be bringing!

A fresh face for this year's festival, we've got Bonnie Burrito joining Team Tempest!

Bonnie Burrito began as a Mexican street food van, creatively combining Mexican food with the delights of Scotland. They aim to provide our hungry customers with all the best of Mexican food with a distinctively Scottish twist by adding the likes of their famous ‘Irn-Bru pulled pork’ or mouth-watering haggis to Mexican classics. Whether you love spice or just a good burrito, you won’t be disappointed!

Want to see more? You can visit them at their shop on South Clerk Street, Edinburgh, or check them out on Facebook and Twitter.

One of our favourites, Fresh Revolution are back!

Run by a husband-wife super team, Ronan and Emily make delicious, fresh street food inspired by global cuisine, using locally sourced ingredients. They're changing the way people see "fast food", by making hot food that's affordable, fast, fresh, and makes the most of Scotland's local produce. At previous festivals they've brought themed menus, with amazing treats like currywurst, buffalo goulash, and mac n cheese balls!

You can check out their website here, and follow them on Facebook and Twitter to see what they're up to over the next couple months.

Ready for this festival's spirits vendor? Welcome Electric Spirit Co to the party!

Electric Spirit Co. began production in 2015, distilling in Leith, Edinburgh. The company, founded by James Porteous, is currently producing its second gin - an aromatic spirit called Achroous, made with a short botanical list that includes fennel seed and sichuan peppercorn. James has produced custom gins for Solid Liquids, North Hop Festival and The Gin Festival, and has also worked with the team at Timberyard restaurant to produce a range of single-botanical distillates, made from locally sourced ingredients.

Fun fact, James also did the MSc in Brewing & Distilling that our brewers, Doug and James, done! So you know he's talented...

If you want to know more about James and his gin, you can follow him on Facebook and Twitter.

Good news, Tasty Buns Bakery are coming back to Tweedbank!

Louise's amazing cakes and bakes have went down a storm at our last two festivals, so how could we possibly not invite her back again? After all, some of the team want to get their hands on those donuts...
Tasty Buns Bakery made a delectable selection of cakes, bakes, and other sweet treats from their bakery on Bread St, Edinburgh, where the cake menu changes depending on what Louise and her team feel like eating themselves! That results in some truly unique and quirky cakes, like Alligator Man infused donuts, Bourbon Millionaire's Shortbread, Kinder Bueno Brownies, and more.

You can visit their shop in Edinburgh to get a taste of what's to come, and you can check them out on Facebook and Twitter

Another new kid on the block for Oktoberfest, welcome Hadrian's Pizza to the party!

Hadrian's follow follow the Neapolitan tradition of using the best available ingredients and a wood fired oven to make delicious thin based pizza which cook in around 90 seconds. The pizzas are Italian at heart with a Northern Soul and they love using some of the amazing produce and producers in their region to create whatever the season allows. Current favourites include Brie, courgette and caramelised red onion using the awesome Brie de Weardale from Weardale Cheese.

We can't wait to see what they have in store, but in the meantime you can follow them on Facebook and Twitter.

Their delicious cider has been popular on our bar before, so we've got Thistly Cross Cider coming with their own bar!

Based on South Belton Farm in the beautiful East Lothian countryside, Thistly Cross make fresh, flavourful cider using hand-pressed Scottish apples and other locally sourced fruits. They'll be bringing along a mouth-watering selection of still and sparkling ciders, including their new Cloudy 5.5% cider, and a special edition of their famous Whisky Cask.

You can check out more about Thistly on their website, and follow them on Facebook and Twitter

It gets a bit chilly in Scotland in September, good job Luckie Beans are coming!

Based in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Luckie roast all their own ethically sourced coffee ready for customers, and their coffee cart at Glasgow Queen Street station. They roast in small batches with careful attention to detail to ensure their coffee is high-quality and full of flavour. They'll be rolling up to the brewery with that delicious coffee, and also tasty warm teas, and lovely hot chocolate.
