HIRING: BREWERY SHOP ASSISTANT

We’re on the lookout for someone special who can help bring the Tempest brand to life, get people excited about our beers, help guide them through the range and give the best customer service experience to every person who enters the Brewery Shop. We’re looking for someone to represent Tempest in the Brewery Shop & to assist in the Taproom. A willingness to help out at external events and festivals is desirable too.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to make our brewery shop a destination for local drinkers, you’ll need to ensure that everything in the shop is fully stocked, well presented and sold with passion and knowledge, that all web orders are packed with care and attention to detail. Your role is crucial in building lasting connections with our customers and creating a unique retail experience. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Serving customers in our on-site brewery shop;
  • Fulfillment of all orders placed on our web-shop;
  • Monitoring the Orders@ inbox and liaising with couriers regarding daily collections;
  • Ensuring the shop looks its best at all times;
  • Increasing sales through friendly, knowledgeable and passionate service and making the most of upselling opportunities;
  • Helping out in Brewery taproom - serving customers, pouring pints, clearing tables etc;
  • Working closely with the wider brewery team and ready to lend a hand where required.

  • Lively and gregarious.
  • Hard-working individual with a “can do” attitude.
  • A real people-person with a passion for creating experiences.
  • A team player but equally able to work independently without direction; someone who can see what needs to be done, and do it.
  • Must be passionate about customer service and experience.
  • A lover of craft beer a bonus, but more important is a willingness to learn about the industry

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 
  • Good IT skills, with a good grasp of MS Office software
  • Must be 18 years + for insurance purposes     
  • Scottish Personal Licence a bonus 

JOB TYPE: PART-TIME IMMEDIATE START
