Monday to Thursday, 11am to 3pm

Friday, 11am to 5pm and Saturday, 11am to 1pm

Please come to the Collection Desk at the main entrance to place your order. Please refrain from entering the brewery.

COLLECT FROM BREWERY ORDERS

To reduce social contact, we will continue to operate and encourage customers to use our 'Click and Collect' service. Your can buy online in advance and collect your order from the Brewery Shop's Collection Desk during shop opening hours (above). If you have any questions or need any assistance, please contact us:

Please note that standard COVID restrictions apply > face coverings compulsory, sanitise your hands on arrival, keep 2m apart from our staff and fellow customers, pay by card if possible.

Please note that we will hold collections for a maximum of 7 working days from the time of email notification.

If you fail to collect it within that timeframe, we will cancel and refund your order.

If you are not able to come to the brewery to collect your beer, you can still order beer contact-free from the safety of your own home with FREE UK Delivery on orders over £70.

 

 DELIVERY CHARGES

We offer the following delivery options for Mainland UK addresses:

Order value £0.01 to £39.99 = £7.99

Order value £40.00 - £69.99 = £4.99

Order value £70.00 or more = FREE SHIPPING

We aim to deliver your order within 2-3 working days from receipt of order.  

Saturday Delivery = £10 (Mainland UK addresses only)

Scottish Highlands & Islands = £15.00

NB: SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS & ISLANDS, NORTHERN IRELAND, CHANNEL ISLANDS, UK OFFSHORE

Deliveries to Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, and Isle of Wight are subject to additional courier surcharges and therefore we are unable to offer free shipping regardless of order value. 

Delivery to Scottish Highlands or Northern Ireland may take longer. Delivery to more remote areas such as the Scottish Islands will normally take up to 5 -7 working days. 

For these zones, there are no weekend delivery services, so parcels collected Thursday have a target day of Monday (in two-day areas) and if collected Friday, have a target day of Tuesday (again two-day areas).

Unfortunately, all BFPO Mailings are also excluded from free shipping but can be sent upon payment of the relevant surcharge. 

EUROPEAN ORDERS

We regret to advise that we are currently unable to send out beers to the EU due to import and customs related issued caused by Brexit.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU PLACE AN ORDER

29/03/2021 Please note that as a result of recent Covid-19 restrictions in Scotland, we are operating at reduced capacity. Please expect delivery to Mainland UK addresses 2-3 working days after ordering.

Unless during exceptionally busy times, we aim to despatch all orders received by 12noon on that same day. Any item ordered after 12noon, at bank holidays or the weekend will be processed and dispatched the next working day. Please bear this in mind with our delivery times.

As soon as you successfully place an order with us, you will receive an automatically generated order confirmation email. You will receive another email when your order has been booked on with the chosen courier. This email will advise the courier and give you the tracking or consignment number. You will then receive a further email once your order has been dispatched from our brewery.

Please note that the tracking number included on this dispatch email may take a few hours to show in the courier’s system so do not worry if it does not show you the details of delivery immediately.

If you are not in when delivery is made and the driver is unable to leave safe or with a neighbour, a card will be left with contact details for you to arrange another delivery. Should these delivery attempts fail, the goods will be returned to us and a full credit for the product will be issued to your account, minus the delivery charge.

THE DELIVERY PROCESS:

Delivery times are Monday to Friday, between 8.00am and 6.00pm. Saturday by special request.

The delivery process varies, depending upon the chosen courier. We use a combination Parcelforce and APC to get your beer (& merch) to you. You will be notified who the courier is that we are sending your beer order with when we are processing your order. You will also receive your consignment or tracking number in this email.

APC DELIVERIES:

An SMS or email notification message will be sent on the day of delivery with a 2-hour delivery window. If you are not in to accept the delivery, the driver either leave the parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour (provided they are over 18 years). In the event that the APC driver cannot leave safe or make a successful delivery, a card will be left so that you can get in touch with the delivery depot to rearrange a delivery at a suitable time.

PARCELFORCE DELIVERIES:

If you provide your mobile number at the checkout, you will receive a text message on the day of delivery that will allow you to choose whether to:

–         Deliver to a neighbour

–         Deliver to a local post office for collection at a time that is more convenient for you

–         Deliver on another working day if that day is not convenient

Where no mobile number is provided, Parcelforce will use your email.

Parcelforce can also provide an interactive SMS service, to enable you to reschedule your delivery to an alternative day (up to 2 days ahead) or opt for a neighbour or post office® collection.

If you are not in when the courier attempts to deliver, then there is a number of different options available to you in order to make sure you get your parcel as quickly and conveniently as possible. Your driver would have left a card. Please read this as it will tell you how to get your parcel.

Please note that for both APC and Parcelforce if there is no contact after a second missed delivery, the beer will be returned to us and we will credit your account, less the delivery charges incurred. If you wish instead to have it redelivered, we can arrange this however you will be charged for the delivery cost again. If you wish to contact us about this, please email [email protected]

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Due to UK licensing laws, we cannot sell alcohol to anyone who is not 18 years old or over. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. The recipient must also be over 18 years of age.

If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. If the person receiving the products is unable to produce appropriate ID, unfortunately our couriers will be unable to leave the products.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Regarding any beer, if there is a problem with your order, items are faulty, or you wish to return goods for any other reason, please contact us at [email protected]

Please check your delivery upon receipt. Please notify us within 5 working days if there is a problem with your order.

To return merchandise goods, the customer is liable for all return shipping costs except in cases where goods are faulty, in which case they will be reimbursed to the customer. Once the goods are received back in our brewery, a refund will be processed for the goods, minus applicable shipping costs, unless the return concerns faulty or damaged goods. Please return merchandise items in their original packaging to:

If an attempted delivery is obviously damaged, you are within your rights to refuse the order, at which point it will be returned to us. If you choose to do this, please contact our helpdesk at [email protected] and we will issue either a resend of the order if every item is in stock, or a full refund, whichever is preferable.

Refunds will not be issued in the instance of an order being placed outside the conditions of the delivery parameters stated on the checkout page.

We cannot accept responsibility for delivery failure if you provide an incorrect address and postal code or incorrect contact telephone number. Please check this information when placing your order.

As our online gift vouchers are issued as a code (sent automatically when placing the order) we are unable to offer a refund on these purchases.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

From there, we can offer your reimbursement to the value of the damaged item(s). Please note, we cannot accept, and process returns on orders from outside of the UK due to the associated costs.

BREAKAGES

We endeavour to make sure our beer is well packaged for transit, however now and again a breakage or damage may occur.

In the unfortunate event that your beer has a breakage, or your merchandise is damaged, please send photos of the damage to [email protected] with your order reference within 24 hours of receiving the package. We may need to collect the package and bring it back to base, so please do not destroy the packaging until you have spoken with us.

We will credit you for the damaged beer or redeliver a replacement (hopefully without any breakages on the second time!).

PRICES & PAYMENT

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and may be per item or bottle or per case, as marked. The prices include UK duty and vat at a rate of 20%, unless otherwise clearly stated. Any delivery charges are additional to the unit price quoted.

STOCK

All orders received by us are shipped subject to availability. In the unfortunate event that we have run out of a particular beer, we will contact you to discuss delivery or refund options. SMALL PRINT

We shall not be liable for any delay in delivering your beer if that delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our control such as, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, fire, flood, storm or Act of God, failure of ISP or telecommunications or courier service provider in connection with the performance of this Agreement.

The images, words and descriptions within the website are for guidance only. Final products may look different to the image shown.

Tempest Brewery may change or add to these terms and conditions for security, legal or regulatory reasons. We will not use this right to vary the terms of any special offer that applies to you.

The sale of the goods takes place only when the beer is dispatched from our warehouse. Until that time, Tempest Brewery will not be bound to supply the goods or agree the price.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or miss-described goods. Further information about your rights is available from your Local Authority Trading Standards Department or Citizen's Advice Bureau.

You agree and acknowledge that Tempest Brewery owns or are licensed to use all copyright, database rights, trade marks and other intellectual property rights in and to all parts of this web site. You are entitled to use our web site in accordance with these Terms and Conditions only. You must obtain our prior written consent before you use our web site or any part of it in any other manner.

All persons, individual and corporate, are prohibited from providing hypertext or other links to the Tempest Brewery web site from their own web site or from a third party's web site, without our prior written consent. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude Tempest Brewery from liability for personal injury or death caused by its negligence. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by us or our employees or agents in circumstances where:

Loss or damage was not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was formed;

Loss or damage was not caused by any breach on the part of the supplier

Loss or damage relates to business and/or non-consumers.

We will not be liable for loss or damage caused by the customer handling the beer. In particular we will not be liable for spillages or breakages.
