This is where it all began... a garage in New Zealand, some local hops, a small cobbled together kit and against all odds an icon was born. Those same hops, Nelson Sauvin and Motueka are still present and correct in this, our love letter to the land of the long white cloud.  NZ hops are characterised by their delicate citrus, fruit and floral notes, particularly the gooseberry, peach and white wine flavours of Nelson Sauvin. To match this we use a light malt bill with a decent amount of oats and wheat to create texture and mouthfeel. It’s the sort of beer that will  make you want to abscond to the shores of the South Island never to return.

NOSE: FLORAL, LEMON & LIME CITRUS, GOOSEBERRY, STONE FRUIT
PALATE: SOFT MOUTHFEEL - ROUNDED WITH BALANCED BITTERNESS
FINISH: LIGHT MALT, CITRUS, SUBTLE FRUIT CHARACTER AND GENTLE BITTERNESS CREATING A WELL BALANCED BEER
