Just think, 40 years from now, you can go around telling people that you were at the very first Borderlands Beer Festival.
Hosted at our new brewery in Tweedbank, Borderlands will bring together our favourite breweries from either side of the border with over 100 beers pouring across the weekend. On top of that, there'll be tunes, street food, giveaways, freebies, t-shirt printing, free bottle pours and much more... it's set to be a right old bash.
Beer-wise, expect a cosmic smorgasbord of hop bombs, crispy boys, big stouts, fruit sours and everything in between from the likes of Beak, Left Handed Giant, Emperor's, Rivington, Dolphin, Two-By Two, 6 Degrees North, Thistly Cross and obviously Tempest We've also got European and USA Bars to bring a bit of international flair.
*for the non-beer drinkers, there'll be a Thistly Cross cider bar, plus wines, spirits, and soft drinks will be available in the Taproom.

Frequently Asked Questions
ARE UNDER 18s ALLOWED AT THE EVENT?
Unfortunately not, this is an over 18 event so no Children or Young Persons will be permitted entry.
IS THERE PARKING AT THE BREWERY?
Not on this weekend, as we'll need all of the outside space. However, there will be a Drop Off zone and Disabled Parking spaces.
IS THE TAPROOM OPEN DURING THE EVENT?
No, the taproom is part of the festival site. It will be open as normal on Thursday and Sunday that week
IS IT ALL BEER TOKENS?
It's token payment only across all the Brewery bars. Bring cash / card for Food and for use in the Taproom bar.
Tokens can be purchased at various points throughout the day.
WHAT IF I HAVE LEFT OVER TOKENS?
Any left over tokens can be redeemed against future purchases online and in our brewery shop
CAN I PAY FOR FOOD WITH TOKENS?
Food from The Big Banh and Limp Briskit can be purchased with either cash or card (not tokens) Food will be served Friday 17:30 - 21:00andSaturday 11:30 - 16:00and again17:30 - 21:00
WILL IT BE WARM?
Probably not! So, do check the weather and dress accordingly, as the brewery and marquee are unheated spaces.
IS THERE JUST ONE BAR?
As well as the taproom, there are multiple bars across the brewery, with each guest brewery pouring from their own bar.
WILL THERE BE FOOD?
As the event is held partly inside the brewery, we cannot allow dogs on this occasion.
WHEN DO THE BARS CLOSE?
Bars close 30 minutes before the end of each session with the event closes at 22:30 (Friday evening) 16:30 (Saturday day) and 22:30 (Saturday evening) – all guests must leave by those times.
WHAT IF I'VE GOT TICKETS FOR BOTH SATURDAY SESSIONS?
If you've bought tickets to both Saturday sessions, you'll be required to leave the venue by 16:30 along with all otherdaytime ticketholders and will not be permitted back in until the doors reopen at 17:30. This is so we can reset the venue for the next session.
