This is where it all began... a garage in New Zealand, some local hops, a small cobbled together kit and against all odds an icon was born. Those same hops, Nelson Sauvin and Motueka are still present and correct in this, our love letter to the land of the long white cloud. Carrying all the freshness of a kiwi sauvignon blanc, this is a beer you will keep coming back to.

NOSE: FLORAL, LEMON & LIME CITRUS, GOOSEBERRY, STONE FRUIT
PALATE: SOFT MOUTHFEEL - ROUNDED WITH BALANCED BITTERNESS
FINISH: LIGHT MALT, CITRUS, SUBTLE FRUIT CHARACTER AND GENTLE BITTERNESS CREATING A WELL BALANCED BEER

"Most of the dry hop consists of Nelson Sauvin, which lends some gooseberry, peach and white grape notes to the beer. We also use a light malt bill with a reasonable amount of oats and wheat to create that mouthfeel"

  • Lychee, lime blossom, lemon zest, gooseberries and elderflower are all up front, and with it's lightly creamy, almost spumante-like body and fresh finish, it is an all-time classic that I simply adore.
  • Still one of the best pale ales around. Fresh grapey deliciousness.
