Attempting to accurately capture the majesty of German Helles lager with mere words is like trekking through the Bavarian Alps in socks and sandals… Modern Helles is about taking the essence of the traditional Helles style and giving it that twist of craft modernity.  Never rushed, our Helles is cold fermented and brewed with high-class German malts and hops. We slightly edge up the hopping to deliver a little floral and citrus character on top of the well balanced malt bill and very clean fermentation. The hop and malt character remains subtle; designed to let the fresh bready notes from the lager yeast come through. Always evolving and always highly smashable.
